Keanu Reeves beams with happiness as he shares a red carpet kiss with girlfriend Alexandra Grant

Keanu Reeves couldn’t look any happier – and we love to see it!

While walking the red carpet and posing for photos during Saturday night’s Museum of Contemporary Art Gala in Los Angeles, the 58-year-old Matrix star was happy to share a kiss with long-term girlfriend Alexandra Grant.

The John Wick icon looked dapper in a black suit, brown boots, and striped tie, as the 50-year-old artist radiated beauty in a red floral dress.

According to the Daily Mail, the couple stayed close and walked much of the red carpet hand-in-hand. The celebration of contemporary art took place at The Geffen Contemporary at MOCA in LA.

The heartwarming images come after Reeves revealed that his last “moment of bliss” came when he was in bed with “his honey”.

Despite the couple choosing to keep much of their relationship private (take note fellow celebs), in a recent interview with PEOPLE, the John Wick star shared a rare bit of personal information about his love life.

When asked about his last moment of bliss, the actor sweetly replied: “A couple of days ago with my honey. We were in bed. We were connected. We were smiling and laughing and giggling. Feeling great. It was just really nice to be together.”

During the interview, Reeves also opened up that the last time he danced was at a friend’s wedding and that he responds to the “feeling” of whether he will be the first to hit the dancefloor or if he will need some persuading.

Funnily enough, Reeves and Grant first went public with their relationship in November 2019, at another art gala – the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) Art and Film Gala.

The couple first met in 2011 and collaborated on a number of different projects. For example, Grant provided the art for the books Ode To Happiness and Shadows – two volumes of poetry written by Keanu himself.

Per the Daily Mail, Grant hails from Ohio, but grew up in various parts of the world. An artist in her own right, she’s been working in the arts since graduating from Swarthmore College in 1994. Since then, she’s had her work exhibited in various prestigious spaces across the world, including the LACMA, the Galerie Gradiva in Paris, and The Harris Lieberman Gallery in New York.

Sadly, some social media users have previously made several comments about her decision not to dye her naturally grey hair.

However, in an Instagram post last month, Grant explained her decision to keep her natural locks, writing: “I went gray prematurely in my early 20s… and dyed my hair every color along the way until I couldn’t tolerate the toxicity of the dyes anymore. In my 30’s I let my hair turn ‘blonde’.

“I love and support that every womxn can choose how she wants to look at every age,” she continued. “But/and, if womxn are perishing from beauty standards… then let’s talk about those beauty standards. Love to all womxn!”

Grant has also previously opened up about her relationship with Reeves – and was even asked about the possibility of marriage during an interview with Vogue in 2020.

In response, she said:  “Over a glass of wine … I would love to tell you. Love at every level is deeply important to my identity. How’s that for dodging the question?

“I do not believe that isolation is the way. There is a period of isolation that I do as a painter, but I deeply value the experience of being in relationships.”

We honestly can’t wait to see more from these two in the future.
