Lance Reddick, the well-known actor recognized for his remarkable performances in popular TV shows and movies such as “The Wire” and “John Wick,” has reportedly passed away at the age of 60. As per the law enforcement sources, he was found dead in his residence in Studio City at 9:30 AM on Friday morning. Reddick began his acting career in 1996 with a TV series named “New York Undercover,” where he landed his first on-screen role. In the 90s, he continued to make appearances in several television shows and movies, including “The Nanny” and “The West Wing.”

However, he gained immense popularity and recognition for his portrayal of Cedrick Daniels in the crime drama series, “The Wire.” Throughout the five-season of the show, Reddick portrayed a lawyer who later turned lieutenant and took charge of the narcotics team in the Baltimore Police Department. The team’s primary focus was to investigate and capture the notorious drug trafficker Avon Barksdale, played by Wood Harris.

Reddick also played a significant role as Charon, a hotel concierge, in the “John Wick” franchise, which further added to his fame and success. Recently, the actor was actively engaged in promoting the fourth installment of the movie, but he did not attend the film’s red carpet premiere earlier this week.
