However, he gained immense popularity and recognition for his portrayal of Cedrick Daniels in the crime drama series, “The Wire.” Throughout the five-season of the show, Reddick portrayed a lawyer who later turned lieutenant and took charge of the narcotics team in the Baltimore Police Department. The team’s primary focus was to investigate and capture the notorious drug trafficker Avon Barksdale, played by Wood Harris.
Reddick also played a significant role as Charon, a hotel concierge, in the “John Wick” franchise, which further added to his fame and success.
