Andrew Tate sings and dances to Mariah Carey song in bizarre video

Andrew Tate is making the most of house arrest following his release from jail.

The 36-year-old British-American influencer – who has shot to notoriety in recent years for his toxic content on masculinity – has had a tumultuous few months, having been held in detention while police in Romania investigated allegations against him and his brother Tristan that included sexual assault, exploitation, organized crime, and human trafficking.

Tate and his brother were originally taken into custody on December 29, 2022, by Romania’s Directorate for Investigating Organized Crime and Terrorism (DIICOT). The brothers were arrested with two women in connection with the same case.

After being held for 30 days, the brothers had their time held in custody extended multiple times. Their appeals to be released had also been denied.

Despite the pair having since been released from prison and placed on house arrest by Romanian officials, they are still under investigation.

Aside from being investigated by Romanian police, multiple women have come forward to accuse Tate of rape and sexual assault – and three separate women are currently suing him in relation to these claims. According to Sky News, the women made these claims against Tate eight years ago in 2015, but detectives working on the case had failed to take them seriously before the case was eventually dropped.

The women had been working as webcam models for Tate in Luton from 2013, where they claimed that they were abused, poorly paid, and threatened to deter them from going to the police. One of the women told the outlet: “To have seen Andrew Tate’s rise in popularity and influence, while knowing who he is and what he has done, has been extremely difficult for those of us who were sexually and physically abused by him.

“We intend to prove in court that Andrew is abusive, coercive and controlling and that his public statements about women are nothing more than fantasy,” she added.

Since being on house arrest, Tate has posted a number of bizarre and cryptic videos and messages – including a Tweet where he apparently predicts that he will be shot upon being eventually released. “I prepare my body to absorb the brutal kinetics of piercing lead. As all other silencing attempts fail, and stage 3 approaches – I anticipate a bullet will be the chosen utensil of pacification. I can only pray and prepare. I will force myself to breathe the best I can. I promise,” he wrote.

His most recent tweet was an equally as strange video in which he is seen puffing on a cigar while listening to Mariah Carey’s ‘We Belong Together’.
Sitting at a dark wood table with his laptop open in front of him, Tate dances to the song while lipsyncing the lyrics.

“I didn’t smoke a cigar or hear a single song for 93 days. Only the screams of sadness. Now. We have Mariah,” he wrote in the tweet.

He had tweeted several days before about Carey, calling her the “best to ever do it”. “The absolute BEST to ever do it. Gods favourite. Gorgeous and sounds like an actual angel. Nobody has ever done it better. Leona is under rated, Whitney is good. But pure voice Mariah is Tip Top,” he wrote.

Investigations into Tate’s alleged sex trafficking charges are still ongoing.
