There was never this huge and lavish of a Coronation Concert ever and the night was truly an extravaganza party to remember. The coronation of 74-year-old King Charles and 75-year-old Queen Camilla saw at least 20,000 people attending the Windsor Castle concert.
The concert saw many world-class celebrities giving mindblowing performances. Among the attendees were Prince William, Kate Middleton, and their two kids, Prince George and Princess Charlotte!
Behind-the-scene snaps showed the family arriving together in style for the red carpet entrance. It was the perfect night for the kids to have fun and the adults to party. They didn’t forget to share some videos of the night’s show to share with followers on Instagram.
Prince William was seen being playful with his kids as he covered the son’s face with his flag.
Prince William also gave a warm tribute to his father, King Charles, and told him, “We are all so proud of you.”
The Prince added that he believed the late Queen Elizabeth would be “proud” of her son now.
The excited crowd had also invited Lionel Richie to perform King Charles’ longtime favorite song, ‘All Night Long.’
And the Duchess of Edinburgh, Sophie, was easily the favorite of viewers who saw her having a blast moving to the beats when iconic pop songs from the 70s started playing. Fans were praising her for being the “most real” royal as she beamed towards the stage while rocking a coral red midi dress by Beulah.
One viewer tweeted, “An appreciation tweet for HRH The Duchess of Edinburgh. Sophie was living her best life tonight, singing & dancing (at times to the discomfort of James, but I always say what the point of having teenagers if you can’t embarrass them) Go Soph. Love it.”
The party will continue through Monday while Their Majesties won’t be making public appearances. But most royals will be making rounds to the Coptic Orthodox Church to host a coronation street party and other locations such as the Guide Dogs to celebrate the day of the Big Help Out, a volunteering legacy to mark Charles’ crowning.
