A heartwarming story shared by a flight attendant about how a young plane passenger gave up his first-class seat in making an 88-year-old pensioner’s dreams come true has undoubtedly gone viral.
Leah Amy, working for Virgin Atlantic took to Facebook to share the heart touching story and uploaded series of happy photo-snaps of the 88-Year-Old’s memorable journey from New York to London.
‘Of the hundreds of flights I have worked on, I have had the pleasure of looking after footballers, supermodels, and even some top Hollywood movie stars. But now, I am about to tell you a story of my two favorite passengers Ever.’ Amy wrote, introducing travelers, Jack and Violet.

Violet, a retired nurse from New York was traveling down to visit her daughter in London, while Jack was traveling home to the British capital after enjoying a family trip to the Big Apple.
Both Jack and Violet, according to the New Zealand Herald had struck up an improbable friendship while waiting at the airport terminal. ‘Jack and his family bought the seats in our upper-class cabin for a flight home, but when he got on board, Jack found violet in the economy and swapped seats with her.’ Amy, a flight attendant explained in her Facebook post.

Amy continued: ‘Jack then sat in the row of seats directly next to the economy toilets and didn’t make a peep or asked for anything. No attention, No fuss – he did it out of the kindness of his own heart. He wasn’t asked to do it.’
Amy went on to reveal that Violet frequently travels down to the United Kingdom to see her daughter who works there, but hasn’t been able to for some time due to her knee replacement.

‘Her dreams have always been to sit in an upper class and jack did make that dream come true.’ Amy added. She, however, shared a series of snaps showing violet luxuriating in the comforts of the upper class.
Amy’s post as equally garnered positive comments as many Facebook users got swept off their feet with Jack’s selfless act of kindness.
