In March 2020, Porsche returned to the doctors after feeling short of breath and had two phone consultations before being prescribed antibiotics. When her condition worsened, the GP thought she had COVID and was brought into Westlands Medical Centre for a consultation. On April 14, 2020, she was rushed to Queen Alexandra Hospital, where she was officially diagnosed with cervical cancer and passed away a day later.
