The funeral ceremonies and burial for Priscilla Murray Gibson, who tragically passed away in February after a fight with COVID-19 and pneumonia, were held on the same day that she would have turned 65 years old.
Tyrese, who is most known for his role as Roman Pearce in the “Fast and Furious” film series, took to social media in order to mark the momentous day. In a video clip that Tyrese posted with his fans, he disclosed that the ashes of his mother, who had passed away, had been enclosed in a vehicle, which served as a representation of “her final resting place.”
“Rejoicing in the fact that my mother is 65 years old today!!! Additionally, this is the day that we have officially dispersed the ashes of my mother in the location where she will be laid to rest… Despite the fact that my feelings are all over the place right now, I will keep praying,” the actor, who is 43 years old, wrote in the heartfelt statement.
In his expression of thanks for the placement of the burial plot, Tyrese said that the resting place of his mother is located directly across from the graves of his late brother Paul Walker and the filmmaker John Singleton. “I cannot express how happy I am that I was able to secure a burial plot for my mother that is just opposite that of my brother Paul Walker and John Singleton!!!,” said the actor.
“Everyone in the family is close by,” Tyrese said in the letter that was so thoughtful and heartfelt. “I wish you a wonderful birthday, mom; you truly are an angel, and I feel so fortunate to be your son. I hope you have a wonderful Birthday.”
The actor had been profoundly affected by the passing of Priscilla Murray Gibson. He had previously shared the news on social media, stating, “On behalf of my family and all of those who have ever spent any amount of time praying for my mom, my beloved Valentine passed away just now, and this is the most heartbreaking time of my life.” These words were shared by the actor.
