R&B Singer Summer Walker Called Out For ‘Soft Parenting’ Her 2-Year-Old Daughter Bubbles

Summer Walker’s parenting is under fire yet again. The “Still Over It” hitmaker just welcomed a pair of twins, but it is her two-year-old that is making headlines today. Some think she is letting the child behave inappropriately and calling out Summer Walker after she shared a video online of Bubbles misbehaving during her birthday gathering.

Summer Walker welcomed her eldest child Bubbles with super producer London On Da Track in March of 2021. The couple’s tumultuous relationship ended around that time, and Walker moved on to her current partner “Larry” aka LVRD Pharoh. Early on in her motherhood journey, people did not think Summer was taking the best care of her daughter. The child appeared very skinny in pictures and videos, and it appeared Summer was feeding her baby hemp seeds, honey, and mushrooms. People were concerned and immediately asked if Summer was doing the right thing.

Now two years old, Bubbles seems happy and healthy and has a mean right hook. The toddler has been seen molly wopping her mother on several occasions. In one video shared by The Shade Room, Bubbles can be seen smacking her mom on the head and pulling her hair. It got so bad someone nearby had to come and help release the child’s hold on her mother’s head.

Summer circulated a separate video of her daughter hitting her while she sang with the caption, “This baby stay beating [me] she wrong af.” While some argued the child’s behavior might need evaluation, others thought Summer was in the wrong for not giving her proper boundaries. Walker decided to clap back at the critiques and was not too happy with people speaking about her child. “SHE DON’T LIKE LOUD NOISES, she ain’t hit me till 50 people started singing happy birthday, & the last video she hit me we was singing loud af as well lol y’all can stfu on my baby birthday.”

Several people in the comments connected her behavior to a sign of Autism, revealing that kids who struggle with loud noises tend to lash out. It is unclear if Summer has already had Bubbles evaluated.
