R&B Singer Tamar Braxton Announces She’s Now Engaged: “I Can’t Believe I Found What I Was Looking For”

Tamar Braxton is set to head down the aisle again. The Braxton Family Values star has found love on her new reality series Queen’s Court. Fans seemed really excited for her and were eager to find out when the big day is. Let’s take a look at Tamar and her new man.

Tamar Braxton was married for years to music industry executive Vincent Herbert. Vince was the mastermind behind Tamar’s success and helped orchestrate her takeover via hit singles, reality television shows, and her stint on The Real. The union would end after the birth of their first child.

Her next public relationship was with David Adefeso. While the union seemed like a match made in heaven, things turned quickly. David Adefeso eventually filed a restraining order against Tamar Braxton saying the singer put hands on him while he was driving. Eventually, a Los Angeles court dismissed the case. Tamar Braxton also accused David of cheating on her with her assistant.

Months later, rumors began to circulate that Tamar Braxton had reunited with David Adefeso after the two were spotted out. Tamar immediately shut down the rumors calling them ‘not true.” After multiple attempts at dating on her own, Tamar decided to take another shot at love on reality tv.

Her love aspirations lead her to the Peacock series Queen’s Court. There, Tamar Braxton, joined by Evelyn Lozada and Nivea, the ladies have been on the hunt for their happily ever afters. The show follows a typical reality dating show format, with the girls going on a series of dates with the men and being challenged to find out if they have chemistry with anyone.

Jeremy “JR” Robinson and Tamar would end up hitting it off during the series. Robinson is an attorney who, in the final episode, popped the question to Tamar. “I don’t wanna be your friend. I wanna be your husband,” he told her. “I’m here forever because I don’t see my life without you.

And I love you.”Tamar accepts his proposal and admits that she is also very obsessed with Robinson. “I can’t believe I found what I was looking for,” she added. While discussing the show’s dating process Tamar stated she has never dated that many men at once.

The show was filmed six months ago, and in the time since, Tamar has reportedly been busy planning the wedding ceremony. Shade Room posted the good news, and fans in the comments have mixed responses. “Y’all just keep spoiling the show. I was watching!  Congrats!” said one person. “Are they obligated to get engaged for being on the queen’s court? And why didn’t they wait for folks to actually complete the show ,” said another person. Others were just shocked that Tamar would marry a white man asking, “is that Paul Wall?”

Tamar Braxton’s co-star Evelyn Lozada also announced she is engaged earlier today. According to People Magazine, Evelyn Lozada also found love on Queens Court and now engaged to entrepreneur Lavon Lewis. According to sources, Lewis asked Evelyn for her hand in marriage back in December. It seems both reality stars are using their engagements to promote the season premiere of their new show. Many fans are calling the engagements spoiler alerts as the show has not aired. R&B singer Nivea is also on the show, but she has not announced an engagement.

No word if either couple has set a wedding date. Queen’s Court premieres on Peacock tonight.
